Session with Dr. Jay mehta

In our department Dr. Jay mehta as a guest lecturer was invited. These four day session was full of knowledge and interesting things. it give deep insights into the topic and also revealed some interesting facts. the point where sir told us about the poe's style of writing, gothic elements, many psychological disorders, poe's craftsmanship it's really informative.

In ' The tell- tale heart ' murder of an old man because of awkward eye. It was cold- blooded murder. Split personality of narrator is reflected and revelance of subconscious level .

In ' Black cat ' narrator loves the pets but he becomes made. When he ignored by cat not accept it and killed it. But fear and burden on his soul.

In ' The fall of the house ( usher )  ' usher house has a melancholy view. Roderick boyhood companion of narrator and sister mate tragic death by sickness of house. It evokes feeling of terror , horror and thriller.

Jay sir's teaching style is great mixture of knowledge and poems. his style to contact story with movies and poems is very effective and some times sir teach with acting at that time we feel like story is performed infront of our eyes so its become more understandable. i am pretty sure the precious knowledge that jay sir gave us will definitely help us in our studies and future.

Thank You....
