Mario Vargas Llosa is a Peruvian writer, politician, journalist, essayist and college professor. Vargas Llosa is one of Latin America's most significant novelists and essayists, and one of the leading writers of his generation. Some critics consider him to have had a larger international impact and worldwide audience than any other writer of the LatIn American Boom In 2010 he won the Nobel prize in literature. "for his cartography of structures of power and his trenchant images of the individual's resistance, revolt, and defeat."

Literature is a testimony of what we want to hide in the real world. You can not attack literature for our vices , prejudices and stupidities , for presenting real thing in it.
Literature reflects society and human beings , what happens around us , that represented in it as a aim of better performance of human beings on a stage like society . For humanity as well as for life's sake. So it is necessary to represent devils in literature as a part of existence in society.
Llosa said that today's world young generation give the importance to image more than ideas.
In society , we are bounded with various images of culture and social structure. That we habituated to flow with it. Image of orthodoxnesss ,manners and life style , which are from years rooted in minds of people . Same thought process followed by other men. this is how the same pattern going on , if any one try for different idea and criteria it will not accepted by society.
'Novelists is the historian of the unrecorded'. Given sentence is very true through literature you get idea about social, political and religious background the ages. Literature record dark side of country, person etc. Here Llosa gives an example of Leo Tolstoy's greatest Novel "War and Peace" which is related to the Russian history and many writers used to wrote about historical aspect .
